Why a Monkey?
When my husband and I were dating and getting to know each other I told him that some people called me a social butterfly. As he got to know me better he told me I was more like a Social Monkey; I jumped all over everything and was loud and adorable and climbed everywhere.
I decided that anyone who knew me that well and wanted to sign on with me forever was a keeper. It's been an inside joke ever since.
